Western Alliance Bank Technology Delivery Director in Grove City, Ohio

Job Title: Technology Delivery Director Location: Block 23 What you'll do: The primary expectation of this role is to lead application delivery for Western Alliance Bank's National Business Lines. The Director with lead development teams and leverage services from other technology teams (Architecture, Infrastructure, Cloud, IAM and Security). This role works closely with bank executives, product leaders and across business teams in order to ensure the delivery and reliability of technology solutions and capabilities. The technology delivery director will manage multiple Agile delivery teams focused on the delivery of payment and lending solutions in our warehouse lending and HOA service offerings. Prior experience delivering software products that compete in the open market place is plus. What we are looking for: Responsible for overseeing technology engineering, application acquisition/development and quality assurance aligned to functional domains. Work closely with product leaders across business teams to ensure the delivery and reliability of technology solutions, it is expected this leader will have an active voice in product strategy. Manage robust, reliable, secure and scalable systems on premise or in the cloud. Develop solutions across multiple IT domains (APIs / services, Portals, Web /Mobile solutions, Core Application Services, Stored Procedures, SSIS packages) Supervising department staff, coordinating coverage for all related responsibilities, and assisting in establishing strategic and operational technology goals and objectives. Drive employee development, retention, resource planning, talent management, performance management, and achieve a diverse and engaged workforce. Build and maintain partnerships to ensure technology team members understand business needs, functional specifications, and delivery solutions that align with business objectives. Influence and establish best in class engineering practices through solid design decisions and tools. Provide rapid response and restoration of production faults (incl problem resolution and Correction of Error) in partnership with the Application Support team. Implements risk management processes to proactively identify and mitigate technology security threats and establish operational controls that contain risk within the overall risk tolerance of the bank.
