Entrust Digital Security Solutions are seeking a highly motivated, experienced and passionate Sales Rep for Japan region who will primarily focusing on expanding channels and business territories, as well as driving Japan key accounts sales strategy. Our business is evolving rapidly requiring dedicated focus on developing new business models and routes to market with our key customers and new partners.

The Sales Rep will be based in Tokyo, Japan. The ideal candidate will be a high-energy, hands-on and detailed-oriented individual who has successfully built and deployed territory sales strategies aimed at business growth.

Reporting to Sales Director of NEA region, this role will help driving Japan sales together to achieve Entrust Digital Security Solutions business revenue. The Sales Rep will build, assess, motivate and lead all kinds of activities to ensure proper coverage, capacity and capabilities of partners throughout Japan regions, via partner plans and programs to close sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Sales team members and Technical Sales Consultants in the Japan region & drive incremental sales revenues

  • Defines, agrees and communicates channel management plans for territory accounts, engaging all relevant stakeholders.

  • Manage and monitor execution of all channel programs, working closely with relevant internal stakeholders and Channel Manager to growth partners

  • Drive process around delivery and execution of strategic business plans at both a regional and channel partner level

  • Build executive relationships and relevance with top customers, and partners throughout Japan, and drive relevance for Entrust Data Protection Solutions

  • Analyze data to determine areas of growth and articulate priority areas for strategic sales development

  • Team effectively within the Entrust Data Protection ecosystem; sales engineers, management, marketing, professional services etc.

  • Supply timely and accurate forecasting to RSD

  • Effectively use supporting tools such as SFDC and relevant dashboards to track opportunities and manage partners

  • Pro-actively seeks input, expertise, guidance and support from all relevant resources in order to increase order intake from the territory

  • Deliver revenue expectations

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in successful business development or consultative sales role, selling high value customer focused solutions centered around IT Systems/Security

  • Experience of successful sales track records in Japan region

  • Strong understanding of Channel eco-system by sub region – Role of VAR’s, Distributors, Systems Integrators, Consultancies

  • Has established relationships and understanding of the IT security market and environment

  • Strong established relationships across the IT security Industry and associated markets

  • A proven track record of developing and maintaining high performing sales and channel networks

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, teamwork, presentation and management skills

  • Strategic and analytical approach

  • Innovator with the ability to influence employees and management at all levels, both internally and externally
